LONDEVITY Chocolates on daphnia lifespan
TestType.animal TestStatus.considered Created 2025-07-25 by London Longevity Clinic
Automated daphnia cohorts at various doses to map dose‑response. Detail: We are far from daphnia, but daphnia might permit to screen for adjustments of mixes for life extension: if automated daphnia lifespan tests permit tests across many daphnia cohorts (aquariums), a dozen cohorts could receive the powdered food that is inside the LONDEVITY Chocolate, at various doses depending on cohorts, to see if there is a best dose for daphnia life extension. From there, variations could be tried for each ingredient: a bit more or a bit less strawberry for example. This towards an optimum 'life extension food' in daphnia, but also and more importantly to see the dose-response shape of the various ingredients, as this dose-response shape may translate to rodents and people and would permit to guess the optimum life extension food for people as well. Of note, a preliminary test could be whether glycine + cystein increase daphnia lifespan (it does so in mice by much and in older persons is correspondingly found to improve many health parameters); if not, London Longevity Clinic does not believe that these tests are meaningful for their products.
